Mrs. Hopebroom handed us looks of encouragements, but she frowned when she saw that someone was missing.
“She’ll be here any second. I’m sure of it,” I said defensively.
“I’m sure she will be, but Midnight are YOU sure?” Mrs. Hopebroom asked.
I faltered. Violet and I haven’t seen Raven in months, but we told Raven about this mission. The final mission against Bloody Mary. I trusted Raven, however, I knew I had to end it today with or without her help. I nodded at Violet and she understood. We headed towards the human realm ready to face our destiny and conquer it.
Violet and I landed in the middle of nowhere and ran through the lands.
“Just passed Maine and now we’re really close to New York!” Violet screamed trying to speak over the whirling winds. I made a grunt sound and picked up the speed.
We needed to get to Central Park soon.

As soon as we arrived, Violet and I swiftly climbed up the ol’ willow tree (ah the ol’ willow tree, good times good times). On the field was a group of humans circling Bloody Mary. I gasped as I witnessed that Bloody Mary had somehow got humans to work for her. I gritted my teeth as I saw how she treated them. The other part of me, the shameful side, wanted me to rip Bloody Mary’s body parts one by one. I tried to tone it down because I didn’t have time for these things. I was on a mission.
“Bow down to me you ugly mortals!” Bloody Mary cackled. She pushed her black spiked boot against a three year old’s head.
“What’s really ugly is your stinking foot.” I retorted. Bloody Mary whipped her head around fully so her head was facing me but her body wasn't. It made Violet behind me cringe, but I stood tall.
“Come kiddies, come play!” Bloody Mary snickered.
“We’ll play, but we won’t promise to play fair,” I grinned
“Neither will I,” Bloody Mary said.

I swiped at her with my swords, but just barely missed her face...which I aimed for.
"Ahh what cute moves you have...for now, I’ll show you mine," She yelled. Her eyes flashed and poisonous thorns came at me through her hand. I smirked and easily dodged them with my wind power.
"A little too old for such young words aren’t we grandma?" I asked.
"You impudent child!" She screamed then she lurched toward me with all of her fury. I smiled coldly then flipped her. I had her right where I wanted her.
"You fell for such and obvious trick even I’m surprised," I whispered into her ear. I was just about to do what I’ve always wanted to do. It was time…
My hands were so ready to, yet why were they shaking? Why do I feel like I can’t do this? Nonsense I can do this...I am going to do this...this is my destiny…it just has to be...it just has to.
